Is a Doula for Me?

The word doula is a Greek word meaning women’s servant. Women have been serving others in childbirth for many centuries and have proven that support from another woman has a positive impact on the labor process.

I am a FULL SPECTRUM doula. Providing emotional and spiritual support by encouraging a mother at any stage of life(hers and baby). From Trying to Conceive thru 24 months postpartum.

Baby/child loss is a very sensitive chapter for any woman. I bring support and resources to assist in lessening your mental load.

What we offer!

Within the The Floating Lotus Doula services we offer specific items and services:

Doula Services (on-call): Up to 24 months postpartum, herbal support, placenta encapulation/tincture

Doula Services (off-call): limited services, herbal support does not include placenta encapulation

Pregnancy Tea: aides with morning sickness and upset stomach

Lactation Tea: helps keep moms milk supply plentiful

Labor Ready Tea: tea blend to help get labor going. Use only after 37 weeks

Placenta Encapsulation: caring for placenta as soon as delivered. Dehydration into capsules. 90-120 capsules. Pictures included

Placenta Tincture: a tincture used with placenta to take sublingual postpartum for mood, hormones, and adjustments (emotionally)

Baby Bath Herbs: light herbs for baby cleansing bath after birth

Postpartum Vaginal Steam: Steam to help with uterine comfort, perineum soreness, pH imbalances

Perineum Oil: grape seed oil based infused with herbs primarily Arnica to help ease soreness and bruising from birth
